Mission Codename Reveling in luxury
Here we are with an Operative Favorite! Today’s WIA- Best Cab Value of the Year.
We’re freefalling from $200+ to $55 on this ultra-premium, uber-small production Napa Cab.
A couple of months ago we blew out their Beckstoffer Melrose Cab, followed by the Stagecoach Vineyard© Cab. And then came their straight-out-of-Napa-Valley Cabernet that has 97% of its fruit from an unnamed C1 block on Pritchard Hill and it’s ALL THAT. Naturally, we jumped on all we could get for you.
Per Chappellett winery, who’s just one of the cult names in the vicinity, “Pritchard Hill is the source of some of the world’s finest mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignons, earning numerous comparisons to the great First Growths of Bordeaux. Pritchard Hill has been dubbed Napa Valley’s Rodeo Drive and Napa Valley’s Grand Cru.”
If you enjoy the Full Monty Napa Cab experience, this is for you. Raised in French oak T5 barrels (some of the absolute best). Crafted under the consultancy of the one and only James MacPhail who’s also the winemaker behind top labels like Tongue Dancer, The Calling, and Sangiacomo, to name a few. This 100% Cabernet tastes every bit the part with a DEEP plush core of blackberry, candied cherries, crème de cassis, sweet violets, savory tobacco leaf, and dark chocolate. All riding on a cushiony soft bed of sweet tannins.
Treat yourself and get one. Or 12. Like their other wines, only 100 or so cases were made, and we have but a slice of that little pie. Live your best life. Just do it quickly because we’re pumped to have it, but…
There’s not much to go around.
