Barbier-Louvet is part of that group of producers who maintain direct contact with the land and with the entire production process. They have been working by hand for generations on the only lands owned in Tauxieres, Montaigne de Reims. Cuvée d’Ensemble is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, with 40% reserve wines. The grapes come from both Grand Crus of Louvois and Bouzy.

Dressed in a pale yellow, it shows a vigorous, fruity nose, playing on apple and pear, with a citrus hint of grapefruit. The palate is magical, graceful, and generous, with good freshness. To be uncorked in great company, as an aperitif or appetizer. Excellent with foie gras.
