The 2015 growing season was a year of great potential for our historic Edge Hill Estate vineyard in St. Helena. Although cool weather at flowering produced a smaller crop at the organically farmed Estate, nimbleness and attention to detail during a hot ripening season yielded a distinct wine with both power and finesse. Barrel fermentations were used to realize the potential of this outstanding vintage.

A blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Carignan, the 2015 Edge Hill Estate Mixed Blacks presents a rich expression of ripe baked fruit and peppery spice. On the mouth, the wine exhibits rich fruit and concentrated aromatics, rounded evolution, and inviting texture.
