Mission Codename When the Sants go marchin'
Whoa. 3 Pinot SELLOUTS BACK-TO-BACK, must be a record!
We swear this 4th one is the FINAL offering from Sant we’ll see today, perhaps ever.
Sta. Rita Hills in the house! Nestled in California’s Central Coast in Santa Barbara County, the proximity to the Pacific Ocean and the valley corridors between Purisima Hills and the Santa Rosa Hills creates the PERFECT growing conditions for Pinot Noir.
This gem is another perfect example from Sta Rita Hills.
And it should be! It’s coming from two of the rockstar vineyards in the area- La Encantada Vineyard and Rita’s Crown Vineyard Legendary Pinot producers like Landmark Vineyards, Siduri, WALT Wines and Kosta Browne have all discovered the magic from these vineyards and so did Sant proprietors Debbie and Greg Hammill!
On the nose, enjoy intense aromatics of red and dark fruits with playful spice notes. A perfectly balanced pinot from a great vintage. On the pallet, find lush tannins and savory oak, earth and layered fruit notes. Bright, elegant and fresh, this pinot is exactly what you should expect from Sta. Rita Hills.
Ready, SANT, go!
