Bred from the near-perfect 2019 vintage, Adagio is described as “a wine inspired by taking life a little more slowly; for this will allow you to recognize the beautiful things at hand”. This has superb purity and richness while remaining light on its feet. It’s medium bodied, with layer upon layer of black and dark red fruit unraveling in a progression of red cherry, kirsch, black currants, melted licorice and spice cake. The fruit is married to ripe tannins and a perfectly integrated gentle oak influence that lets it shine with freshness and depth.
