Our wines exclusively come from grapes grown on the hillsides of “La Vallée de la Marne”, right in the middle of the Champagne vineyards. They were carefully raised in our own cellars. Our vineyards are planted in Leuvrigny and Moussy, which soil is composed of limestone and chalk. Depending on the area, the soils are made from clay, marl, and various types of limestone. This diversity confers the typicity to the wines coming from “La Vallée de la Marne.”
The effervescence is sustained and forms a nice bead of foam. The color is slightly golden. On the first nose, there are aromas of fleshy yellow fruits such as peach and apricot. After a few minutes, notes of dried fruit (hazelnut) and honey are diffused. The mouth is very round, and intense while keeping freshness and nice acidity. It is mainly pastry aromas that emerge. It is very round and tasty on the palate combined with freshness and acidity. The aromas are mostly reminiscent of French pastries. This cuvée is to be enjoyed for pre-meal drinks or throughout meals as an accompaniment to poultry with dried fruit.
