Mission Codename In Chains
Aaaaaaaaand…. BOOM! The gates come crashing down and the pillaging begins…
PRISONER WINE COMPANY!
Pinot Passionistas, lovers of all wine, get in here and claim your share!
We feel, perhaps, this might be one of the most server-stressing, over-the-top, fast and furious mouse clicking, race-through-the-checkout offers we’ve ever rolled out. The urgency is real today, Ops.
You know TPWC well. Yes, the one made famous by Dave Phinney way back when. The one pushing boundaries, making unconventional and downright delicious wines with those haunting labels that scare your children.
Some of you might be thinking “hard pass…this ain’t it.”
And while many Prisoner wines do push the limits, this has GRACE and dare we say… balance. If the likes of Sea Smoke, Pisoni, Martinelli and other similarly flashy, overtly delicious cult Pinot Noirs make you happy, this will too. Heck, if you like almost any wine and we poured it blind you’d ask for more.
As always, the label is unlike anything else. More than half covered with dark wax, dripping over the face of some grizzled guy with no mouth. Label art aside, the wine is what matters, so moving on.
You must like ‘em BIG. If Pinots get your salivary glands flowing, this is surely in your wheelhouse. This contains fruit sourced from Carneros, Edna Valley, Monterey, Russian River, and various other top Pinot-growing regions. It’s warm and toasty, and absolutely GUSHING with juicy deep red fruit - pomegranates, blueberry jam, Luxardo cherry (Luden’s drops?), and piquant baking spices galore, cola, caramel cocoa cluster Frappuccino too, and a toasty note that doesn’t overpower. It’s no joke. Polished, sexy, and straight-up delicious AF!
We took out a new line of credit to buy as much as we could but it’s never enough for a wine like this. I’m sure the gears in our office bottle counter widget are melting as it spins at never-before-seen RPMs while inventory drops just as quickly.
Now $75 on their website, and $29 today, need more be said?
Lock it down!
