As you drive up to the Talley Vineyards Tasting Room, the rolling hills of our Rincon Vineyard lined with vines of cool-climate Grenache welcome you home. This new varietal to our lineup met with much acclaim. Vinification is in open-top fermenters with native yeast, punched down by hand, and 100% destemmed. Aging is for 16 months in neutral French oak barrels.
Aromas of blackberry, cranberry, dried rose petals, ground black pepper, cumin, and candied violets dominate the nose while the palate offers up fresh blueberry, Assam black tea, dried blackberries, rhubarb, and iron. The finish adds rustic blue fruits.
