Viticultural techniques for all wines include organic work of the soil, strict yield control (green harvesting and de-budding), handpicking in cases, and hand sorting in the vineyard, and selective sorting at the winery.
The 2016 Clos de la Perrière Monopole Vougeot 1er Cru is elegant and delicate. The nose has black fruit aromas, truffle, and spices, the mouthfeel is intense with grilled almond and underwood hints, and a nice minerality. Tannins are delicate and silky which gives a very nice character to this wine.
