Mission Codename California DRMing
If you’re a parent, you probably feel personally victimized by daylight savings time. There’s never any savings at any time.
That’s why we’re bringing you the REAL deal savings on something we know you love - NAPA CABERNET.
So put your Sunday morning routine on pause and lock this down before you do anything else. It’s an absolute must-have for anyone who wants under the radar, huge value Napa Cab that over-delivers BIG TIME – whether you’re on Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific Standard Time.
In a world where the average price of a Napa Cabernet is $90, this stands out as an unfathomable deal for the release price of $50. And our price? $30?? Did we wake up in 1989??
This comes by way of a little-known legend in the winemaking scene. DRM stands for Daniel Ray Manies and he was once a key member of the OPUS ONE team for their inaugural vintages. Yes, in 1991 he joined Opus One and lead the charge to forge one of the most iconic wines in the world. He worked as their Master Cellarman to help startup and direct all production programs at their new facility, working alongside Tim Mondavi and Patrick Leon. A decade later, he went to Bordeaux to help further Baron Philippe de Rothschild’s vision while expanding his winemaking dexterity.
Two years later, he produced the first vintage of this wine, in true garagiste style - literally making it at his own home. His style shows a more balanced approach inspired by Bordeaux, with a modest 13.5% alcohol and you won’t find any of the heavy-handed, uber-extracted overtness. Still, it has all the ripe New World elements you want in a Napa Cab with enough decadent richness to please everyone. The nose is redolent in berries black and red, cassis, and cracked pepper nuances too, and the palate gives a violet note with pronounced dark cocoa dusted cherries dimension. Excellent length and it’s ready to pair with your favorite steak cuts done just right. Can’t think of a better weekday Napa Cab!
Back up the truck and stack it by the case while it lasts. Or you could spend $300+ on an Opus One.
