Most famously known for his Chardonnay, Kent Ritchie also planted a very small amount of Sauvignon Blanc on the sandy Goldridge soils here over 35 years ago. We feel this may be one of the best-kept secrets in all of California wine, and we are exceedingly proud of the wines we have produced out of this site year after year.
Ascending from the glass with tremendous presence comes hints of white peach blossom, chamomile, and fresh apricots on the nose. Touches of graphite, white pepper, dill seed, and honeysuckle follow through the finish. Medium to full-bodied nicely framed with a vibrant backbone of acidity.
