The Howell Mountain Single Vineyard 100% Cabernet is comprised of carefully selected exceptional lots of world-famous hillside Howell Mountain fruit. The most desirable & acclaimed AVA in Napa Valley, this vineyard combines volcanic soil with high elevation mountain terrain above the fog line.

Located to the east of St. Helena, at an elevation ranging from 1,400 to 2,200 feet, sits one of the most prestigious wine-growing regions in the world. One of the central characteristics of this appellation is its position above the fog-line. This important climatic fact means the temperature tends to be about 10 degrees cooler during the day than on the valley floor, and substantially warmer in the evenings. These factors, along with the volcanic soils of Howell Mountain, allow for longer growing seasons - which allow the grapes to ripen, producing a more intense fruit.
