Mission Codename Dolce & Gabbana Hello?
Did you know - if you sell both kidneys, you’ll never have to worry about money again?
Don’t do that. Sell at most ONE and use the funds to scoop up a bunch of this insane deal.
Or cash out some DOGE coins. Open the kid’s piggy bank. Sell some 2x4s on the gray market.
Whatever it takes to lock this down. Over $70 savings PER BOTTLE!! Serious Cabernet lovers this is the ONE you’ve been waiting for.
Prado & Dolina sounds like something off the runway in Milan, but they are straight outta the Oakville – Rutherford corridor - where the real deal, primetime Napa Cabernets come from. The name, in fact, is a reference to the owner’s Italian heritage. And that’s about all we know to be honest. Oakville is a small town. Every vineyard is hot and famous, and so are its neighbors. They could tell us all about the source and the winemaker here, but we’d have to charge you the $110 then. No thank you.
This wine was never meant to hit store shelves or land on Wine Spies. It was a small project destined for expensive steakhouses and fancy restaurants across the US of A, which as you guessed, saw sleepy times over the past year. Deep intel brought it to our attention, and after tasting the sample… WOW.
Red currant, cassis, and cherry jam. Leans toward the red fruit side of things, but still retains some blackberry and black plum, with darker spices, cedar, anise and a little floral character lingering around. Tannins are superfine and soft, and the acid is dialed up too. Just incredibly opulent and elegant - in other words, exactly how you love Cabernet. And while it’s quite lush, it never veers into the heavy or over-extracted style.
To say this blew away the other wines at our recent tasting is like saying Usain Bolt outpaced me on a 5k race. Just leagues, miles ahead in every way.
At this price? No competition…
