The 2016 Les Beaux Monts Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru has a purple and intense color, with black fruit aromas (blackberry) on the nose which improves when aerating, the palate surprises with its concentration, texture, and length. Discrete but present tannins.
The 2016 Clos de la Perrière Monopole Vougeot 1er Cru is elegant and delicate. The nose has black fruit aromas, truffle, and spices, the mouthfeel is intense with grilled almond and underwood hints, and a nice minerality. Tannins are delicate and silky which gives a very nice character to this wine.
The 2016 Les Plantes Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru shows well-matured aromatics with notes of small red fruits. The mouthfeel is complex and dense, leading to a sweet and mineral finish.
