This wine was exclusively made and bottled at Holtermann Family Wines as a by the glass selection for SingleThread Farm, Restaurant & Inn in Healdsburg, California.

The windswept pacific climate, up-lifted coastal mountains and towering ancient redwoods converge in Alma Fria’s elegant Chardonnay. Wild, exotic, mountainous, and perched directly abive the San Andreas Fault, the Manchester Ridge Vineyard, which provides 70% of the fruit for this wine, is close enough to the sea to hearthe waves crashing yet high enough to rise above the fog. The remaining 30% came from the West Sonoma Coast’s fog covered Joyce Vineyard.

Fermented in neutral French oak and produced with a very light winemaking touch, this crisp Chardonnay is bright, floral and sumptuous with Key lime, white kibiscus, kumquat, and hazelnut aromatics.
